Yoshiwara En: Kamui Part 1

He made his first appearance in the first part of Yoshiwara En, and as soon as he appeared, he faced his sister Kagura. After defeating Kagura, he led his men to kidnap Haruta. In fact, Kamui's trip was because the elders of the Harusame Pirates were afraid that Fengxian would threaten the Harusame Pirates, so they sent Kamui to intimidate Fengxian and get rid of him if Fengxian resisted. Shenwei captured Lai Qingta as a gift to Fengxian, but Fengxian saw through Shenwei's intention and the two started fighting after a disagreement. Admiral Ah Dai wanted to eliminate the entire Seventh Division because he was afraid that Kamui and the Seventh Division would threaten his position. Takasugi discovered Admiral A-Dai's conspiracy, which was to eliminate not only Kamui but also himself, so Takasugi formed an alliance with Kamui during the prison visit, and then rescued Kamui under the pretext of execution. Kamui and Takasugi eliminated Admiral A-Dai together.

After a while, Takasugi attempted to help Hitotsubashi Kiki become the shogun and planned to assassinate the current shogun Tokugawa Shigemo. Before the action, Kamui mistakenly thought Kiki was Shigemo and seriously injured Hitotsubashi Kiki. Takasugi took advantage of the situation and created the illusion that Ichibashi Kiki was assassinated in order to get rid of the suspicion that Ichibashi was the one who assassinated the general. Kamui and the 7th Division were also involved in the whole plan and blocked one of the troops on the general's escape route. He met Okita by chance on the spaceship, who was entrusted to protect the general's sister "Princess Sumiyo". After seeing Okita's strength, he proposed to fight with Okita without hesitation. The battle between the two was about to break out, and they fought back and forth, but Shenwei gradually gained the upper hand. In the end, the battle between the two was suspended due to the explosion of the spacecraft, and Shenwei was injured by an iron pipe piercing his abdomen. Because the spaceship is about to crash, Afu-Usa comes to persuade the unsatisfied Kamui to evacuate. Then, Takasugi learned that General Shigeshiro was hiding in Iga Village, so he attacked the village in one fell swoop. Kamui also arrived later and met Kagura, and the brother and sister fought again.。

This time it was difficult for Kamui to completely defeat Kagura, because his hands and abdomen had been injured in the previous fight with Okita, which resulted in him being unable to exert his full strength. Kagura's strength was also slightly stronger than in the first battle. During the battle, Kamui discovered that Naraku had come to disrupt the situation, so he turned to attack Naraku's people. Afterwards, the brother and sister each fought with Naraku to protect Gintoki and Takasugi.

During the Luoyang Decisive Battle arc, Yorozuya and Katsura were informed by Heita that the Demon Corps and the 7th Division were betrayed by the top leaders of the Harusame Pirates when they were returning to their base in space. After that, Kamui and the 7th Division decisively decided to cover the Demon Corps' escape. Later, he met his father Kamiya on the spaceship and his whereabouts were unknown after being attacked by him. In Luoyang, the unconscious Takasugi was unfortunately hit by a shell. When he fell off the cliff, Kamui appeared and caught Takasugi. Afterwards, he found his father, Kamiko. When the commander of the Harusame 1st Division, Shiling, was about to fight Kamiko, he snatched Shiling's weapon and attacked him, splitting him in half. Then Kamui started fighting with Kamisaki. The strength of both of them was equal, but it was seen that Kamisaki still showed mercy and was interrupted by Kagura during the fight. Kamui took the opportunity to attack Kagura, but was disrupted by the Hollow. Kamui and Kagura were bombarded and fell into the valley.

In the valley, Kamui killed Kagura in order to sever all family ties, and then ran halfway up the mountain. Seeing Kamisaki seriously injured by Hyūki, Kamui still rushed forward without giving up and wanted to kill him, but was stopped by Gintoki. Kamui then fought with Gintoki, and although Kamui had the upper hand, he began to fear Gintoki. When he was about to give Gintoki the final blow, Kagura stood up to block Gintoki, but seeing that it was his sister, Kamui subconsciously held back, and was knocked down by Gintoki's sneak attack. When he fell to the ground, the Night Rabbit blood in Kamui's body began to run wild, and Kamui also entered a rampage mode, killing everyone present. In the end, he was stopped by the three people from the Yorozuya. In the final confrontation with his sister, he decided to show mercy and hugged his sister, and the brother and sister reconciled.

Kamui is a member of the Night Rabbit tribe, and his strength is one of the best among the Night Rabbits. He has perfectly inherited the warlike nature of the Night Rabbit tribe. He likes to challenge the strong and will be very excited when he meets a strong person. Like Kagura, he also has a huge appetite. Kamui's strength is definitely ranked in the top five in Gintama. Perhaps he can be considered the strongest except for Hollow, Kamisama, Housen and Faruryu. But the result of their battle was very unsatisfactory. Their battles against Fengxian, Kamiko and Okita were all disrupted by others and ultimately ended in nothing. Judging from strength alone, it is no problem for it to crush Joy4, but its fighting style is too monotonous and direct, and it is often hurt by the opponent's strategies or unexpected attacks.
